Itinerary
+Sleeping Bag and small pillow (or use your sleeping bag cover stuffed with clothing as a pillow)
+1 day pack & 1 bigger bag for storage on the overland truck
+Comfortable walking shoes for delta. (Please bring neutral colours for the Okavango - such as greens and browns so that the animals aren't scared off on our walks!)
+2nd pair of comfortable shoes like sandals to travel in.
+Basic clothing items that you don't mind getting a bit dirty - shorts, t - shirts, socks, underwear etc etc - please pack moderately.
+Swimming costume & towel
+Hat, suntan cream, sun glasses
+Long pants & long sleeve shirt for night time wear
+Warm top
+Light rain jumper
+Snacks although be careful of melting chocolate
+Musical instrument if you have one
+Toiletries including deodorant
+Small personal aid kit between a few friends with the basics in it ie headache pills, anti diarrhoea, sunscreen, insect repellent.
+Malaria medication and insect repellent like peaceful sleep or tabard. (Webb Savoy pharmacy opposite Shoprite sells Malaria medication).
+Water bottle
+Book or something to keep you amused on long travel days (there is also a CD player on the truck)
+Torch
+Camera and batteries. The overland truck has 12v, 110v and 220v connection points with square plugs which can fit US plugs. No travel adapters on truck. Please bear in mind there are lots of you and sometimes things don't work so please have adequate back ups.

This covers the basic of the trips. Regarding money, US $'s and South African Rands in cash are the best currency's to bring. We'll discuss amounts at the meeting. Credit cards are accepted at Livingstone (Vic Falls) - remember there is a credit card fee of 5%. There will be a safe on the truck to store you money and passport.
