Julianna Gieser

Julianna is our American team member, currently living
in Cape Town while her husband works towards his Masters
at the University of Cape Town. She is excited to be living
in South Africa and given the opportunity to learn about
new people, stories, foods and cultural traditions. At
2 Way Travel, Julianna enjoys serving international students
(the American students bring comfort from home) and the
groups volunteering in Cape Town. She especially enjoys
seeing how travellers grow through the challenges of learning
about a new place and discovering the diversity of people,
places, religions, and lifestyles that makes Cape Town
so unique. Julianna loves sports and outdoor activities
(rugby, hiking Table Mountain & sea kayaking in Fish
Hoek); cooking and eating new foods (bobotie with Mrs Ball’s
chutney, rusks, amagwinya & koeksusters); and exploring
the natural wonders of the Western Cape (fynbos, mountain
passes, indigenous forests & beaches). Julianna is
responsible for developing itineraries here at 2 Way Travel
as well as for making bookings and doing office admin.
2 Way Travel wants
to make a difference.
In peoples lives. Every day.
