Way Travel is a service tourism business with 2 primary
passions:
To
provide affordable opportunities for people to discover
the delights of Africa
To
make tangible contributions towards addressing the injustices
caused by South Africa's former Apartheid government
through social upliftment and transformational tourism.
2 Way Travel provides out-of-the-box travel experiences
that will affect your life as well as the lives of those
you encounter. Customers of 2 Way Travel are encouraged
to experience more than just a beautiful place but rather,
to engage in relationships with people thereby creating
meaningful travel experiences. We want to promote interactions
between foreigners and locals while showing the reality
of life in Africa.
Details of 1st Semester Student Events
Mon 9th Feb: Devils Peak Hike (relatively tough walk
although we will take breaks)
Starting at 10am from 2 Way Travel's office on UCT middle
campus. Cost R50. Bring lunch, hat, suntan cream and
drinks. Back at 5pm.
Tues 10th Feb and Wed 11th Feb: Shark Cage Diving
(**weather dependant)
Early start (+/-5:30am) and back mid afternoon. Cost
R1200 (includes transport from home, breakfast and lunch
for the day).
Thurs 12th Feb: Volunteer Day
Spend day working at a Children's Home. 9am start
from 2 Way Travel office. Cost R400 (includes lunch,
transport & volunteer materials). Back at 5pm.
Fri 13th Feb: Wine Tasting
Explore the glorious Cape Winelands. 9am start from 2
Way Travel office. Cost R450 (includes transport & 3
tastings with lunch for own account). Back
at 5pm.
Tues 17th Feb: 2 Way Travel Evening (free dinner!)
Starts at 5pm at the 2 Way Travel office and includes
free dinner and the chance to win lots of amazing free
prizes including Kruger Park safari, township tour,
shark dive and much more!
Fri 20th Feb: Super 14 Rugby - Stormers vs Reds
Watch our provincial team (Stormers) take on the
Reds from Australia in the brutal contest called
Rugby! Meet at Cocoa Wah Wah coffee shop on Rondebosch
Main Road at 5:30pm. Cost R100 (includes ticket).
Saturday 28th Feb: Shark Cage Diving & Sky Diving
(**weather dependant)
Shark Dive: Early start (+/-5:30am) and back mid afternoon.
Cost R1200 (includes transport from home, breakfast and
lunch)
Sky Diving: 2-3 hour round trip. Cost R1450
(excludes transport).
Sunday 1st March: Township Lunch at Mzoli's
Meet at 2 Way Travel office at 12pm for an authentic
township experience at the super popular Mzoli's Restaurant! Cost
R150 (includes transport and lunch). Back at 4pm.
Wed 4th March: Botswana/Vic Falls sign up closes (or
sooner if limit reached)
Easter Break (4th-13th & 5th-14th April) Botswana
and Victoria Falls Camping Trip
The trip starts and ends from Cape Town and is 10 days
of adventure, wildlife, camping and fun. Many students
rate the trip as the highlight of their time in Africa
and a trip of a lifetime. Come discover it for yourself
– you won’t be disappointed. Our trip fee is the best
you’ll find anywhere while we do all the organising meaning
it’s hassle free and convenient for you. You just pay,
pack and then pitch up – we do the rest.
